Meeting Southeast Michigan Caregivers Needs!

We have joined Exhale – The Family Caregiver Initiative! As one of 50 organizations in Southeast Michigan that have developed a unique program to increase access to respite services and enhance families’ well-being, we are proud to support our region’s caregivers.  

A crucial aspect of being a Caregiver is ensuring the safety of those entrusted in your care. This responsibility usually extends to the upkeep and maintenance of the dwellings and surroundings of those in need of care. Rest and Recharge + Helping Hands is our Caregiver program designed to offer respite to low-income caregivers aged 55 and above. 

Throughout this program, our representatives schedule professionals to provide lawn care, snow removal, and other minor home maintenance tasks. These services are particularly beneficial as part of a respite program because they address specific tasks that can be time-consuming and physically demanding. 

Additionally, Caregivers will be afforded the opportunity to participate in various group outings and gatherings, family mediation, as well as training and development sessions. Our partnership with ABC Adult Day Care Center  provides care in your absence if needed.
